Last Thursday I met Renee in Vegas for a 30th birthday celebration/vacation. After relaxing Thursday night to recover from a long travel day we were ready Friday morning for a full day on the strip. We started out at Margaritaville for lunch then on to Circus Circus.
I read online before leaving that Circus Circus has the 'World's Largest Permanent Circus'...boy was that misleading. When we arrived we realized they only had a handful of circus acts on a small stage. We didn't realize how outdated the casino was, but we got some good laughs.
For dinner we met up with Paula who took us to this AMAZING sushi restaurant. I haven't seen Paula in close to three years. It was great to catch up and talk about old memories from when we both lived with Jay in Utah. We laughed almost nonstop. After dinner we went to Freemont Street.
